About the Founder & Owner

Cole James

I’m a home builder with a genuine love for the craft. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science from Texas State University, and ever since, I’ve been focused on doing quality work with purpose. I started Spring Lake Custom Homes out of a passion for building, serving families, and creating spaces that last.

Faith and family are at the center of my life. I love Jesus, I love the outdoors, and I believe in doing things the right way — even when it’s hard. I take pride in what I build, and I try to approach every job with honesty, integrity, and a steady hand. Whether I’m on a job site or with my family, my goal is the same: to show up fully and give my best.
